Stuffed Ridge Gourd or heerekayi ennegayi is one the popular dish of North Karnataka. Yennegayi means we have prepare the dish using lots of oil and very little amount of water. We can preserve this dish for 2 to 3 days. hirekai yennegai is perfect picnic recipe. Hirekai yennegai or hirekai ennegayi is goes well with jawar rotti or chapati.
In stuffed ridge gourd Curry the ridge gourd is stuffed with some masala. The main ingredients for stuffing masala is peanut and Niger Seeds. Here in this recipe video i have shown you traditional of preparing Stuffed Ridge Gourd or heerekayi ennegayi.

Roasted Chana Dal : 1 tbsp

Red Chilli Powder : 1tbsp

Onion : 2 medium
Garlic Clove : 10 to 12

Fresh Grated Coconut : 1/4 Cup
Jaggery

Mustard Seeds : 1 tsp
