CHAOS and FUN | McChallenge FUN Cup 23/24 - Race 5

In race 5 of the McChallenge FUN Cup at Worldkarts Kortrijk, the drivers were aware in advance that the leader had drawn one of the lesser karts. It was anticipated that strong defense would be necessary and that the field would pile up behind him.

Unfortunately, my GoPro didn’t record the race, but thanks to Kjell from JDK-Racing, I can share the footage. I started from P3 (the white helmet with the black dot and the GoPro on top). Enjoy one of the most chaotic yet FUN races to date!

The lead of the race changed immediately after the first pass under the bridge. I attempted a move for P2 in the last corner of the first lap, but I received an orange flag, necessitating the return of the position. This resulted in me falling to P4.

After benefiting from an attack on the position ahead of me, landing me back in P3, I made a move for P2 on the back straight but got squeezed into P5! Shortly after, JDK-racing was on the hunt and attempted the same maneuver, but it concluded in the exact same way.

In the penultimate lap, an opportunity presented itself, and I was ultimatly gifted P2.
