There are plenty of beautiful neighborhoods outside of Centro in San Miguel where you can save you a lot of money. San Javier is a 35 minute walk to Centro (10 min car ride). It has access to tons of "local" shops and restaurants. This is an up and coming neighborhood with lots of huge houses being built.
