Pinus flexilis is a great alternative to the Colorado Blue Spruce (Picea pungens). Picea pungens are dying out due to Rhizosphaera Needlecast Disease. So, finding other alternatives is best. Limber Pine grows very well in Central Indiana (USDA Zones 5b/6a). Tolerates clay and alkaline soils without much fuss. They also tolerate our high humidity and high annual rainfalls. Make sure the tree is not planted in a low spot that is prone to flooding, and drainage shouldn't be an issue.🌲
Full Sun
Hardy in USDA Zones 3-7(8a)

🌲NOTE: Please do further research on plants before buying and planting them. Different plants require different growing conditions, such as light, water, cold hardiness, soil type, protection, and pH level🌲
