ابن سينا شرقاً وغرباً: الوسيط المعرفي للعصور الوسطى | Avicenna: The Scholar Who United East & West

ألقت هذه الجلسة الضوء على شخصية مبدعة شكلت رابطاً حياً بين حضارات الشرق والغرب، فلم يكن ابن سينا مجرد فقيه وطبيب، بل كان جسراً معرفياً بين العقول والعلوم.
أثرت هذه الجلسة شغف المعرفة عبر تناول أثر أعمال ابن سينا الفلسفية والطبية على الفكر الغربي والعربي، وكيف كانت مؤلفاته مترجمة وموضع دراسة في جامعات أوروبا في العصور الوسطى، لتشكل بذلك حجر الزاوية الذي بنى بين الثقافتين.
كما كشفت الجلسة عن ابن سينا كعالم موسوعي وكيف تحوّل من كونه مفكراً إسلامياً إلى مرجع مهم في أوروبا، بل وكيف شكلت أعماله أساساً للأطباء والفلاسفة.

This session explored the life and legacy of Avicenna, a visionary scholar whose groundbreaking contributions in medicine and philosophy transcended borders.
More than just a jurist and physician, he served as a living bridge between the civilisations of East and West, connecting minds and knowledge.

The session enriched our passion for knowledge by exploring the influence of his philosophical and medical works on both Western and Arab thought, and how his writings were translated and studied in European universities during the Middle Ages.
Avicenna is revealed not only as a polymath but also as a thinker who transitioned from being a prominent Islamic scholar to a major reference in Europe, with his works forming a foundational base for both physicians and philosophers.
