The first and perhaps the most important is that prior to my teaching block, my co-instructor Chris Mandigma from Tirsia Tactical covered legal issues, de-escalation and use-of-force continuum. I followed with material pertaining to dealing with consequences of edged weapon use, mental agility, flow, on-the-fly adaptations, art and coordination, counter-trapping and then back onto some basic defenses.
