‘Shot At For Hours’ Houthis Resume Aden Strikes? Warn Trump ‘Won’t Be Safe’ As US ‘Bombs’ Kamaran

A senior Houthi leader has threatened US president Donald Trump ahead of his planned visit to the Gulf in May, warning it "will not be safe" due to ongoing US support for Israel’s war in Gaza. Hazam al-Assad issued the threat via A-Risalah, declaring there would be "no security in the region as long as Gaza is not safe."

The warning comes amid reports that private American contractors are advising Yemeni factions preparing a ground offensive against the Houthis. Meanwhile, the US continues to strike Houthi positions across Yemen, including Kamaran Island and Sa'ada province.

The USS Carl Vinson has now deployed near the Gulf of Aden, joining a growing US naval presence. Israel claims half of Houthi missile launches have failed due to technical issues, citing American and Israeli defence systems for preventing major damage.
