Tokyo Day 4: Imperial Palace Walks, Modern Art & Wagyu Dinner | Japan Travel Vlog

Day 4 in Tokyo was about balance, reflection, and celebrating the journey we’re still walking together.
After the neon energy of the previous day, we slowed our pace and explored the historic heart of Tokyo. From the elegant grounds of the Imperial Palace and its East Gardens to the quiet power of modern Japanese art at the National Museum of Modern Art, this day offered space to reflect on friendship, time, and shared experiences.
Along the way, we discovered the beauty of polygonal stone walls, samurai guardhouses, seasonal persimmons, and traditional tea fields. Lunch brought us to an authentic Hokkaido soba noodle restaurant, where handcrafted buckwheat noodles restored both body and spirit.
The afternoon unfolded in different directions. Some of us explored Tokyo’s famed restaurant supply district, browsing Japanese-made knives and ceramics, while others enjoyed rest and relaxation back at the Airbnb.
We reunited in our Koto City neighborhood for a memorable wagyu barbecue dinner, where first bites, warm hospitality, and an unexpected farewell bow from the staff left us deeply moved.
