ON APRIL 17, 2024, Shannon Forester spoke to the Battle of Homestead Foundation on the history of her ancestor, John E. Morris, the first worker killed in the 1892 Battle of Homestead (and buried in Homestead Cemetery in Munhall, Pennsylvania – https://tinyurl.com/4985s8bj).
Ms. Forester shared new research about the Morris Family and how they were affected by the 1892 strike and its aftermath.
