Hey there kids! Its Uncle Ben Eller, and on Weekend Wankshop 237, we are going to learn one of the best solos in heavy metal history: Killing Road by Megadeth, featuring Marty Friedman and Dave Mustaine (from the criminally-underrated Youthanasia album)!

Ever since i put up my cover video of this legendary solo, i've had a lot of you guys asking for a full lesson breakdown on it... and since i aim to please, here we are! This is an amazing solo if you're looking to learn all about Marty's amazing phrasing and arpeggio use; The Tornado of Souls solo features some great triad licks, and this one may be even cooler, in my opinion!

In this video, we will talk about the tuning, tones, and all the licks from both of these solos. This is a note-for-note breakdown, so take your time with it! Its a pretty dang tough solo. And don't skimp on that awesome Friedman vibrato!!!
