Do you hear the funny sound every time a low F is used? That is the sound of a cracked reed in the sub bass : (
I noticed the other week it was starting to go flat, so I tuned it back up yesterday, and it lasted for about an hour. By the time I get to the end of this piece in this recording, it is even more noticeable. It will have to be replaced, as it will probably break anytime now (or I will just pull it out because it is starting to drive me crazy)
Played on a D.W. Karn reed organ, manufactured in Woodstock Ontario, Canada in 1905
