Hey kids, in this video I will discuss how medieval clothing (and especially viking age clothing) looks a lot more like clothes from the 1900s than you think. I will briefly discuss some similarities in silhouettes, the length of clothing, and how color was very important to both time periods. Hopefully this will be interesting and insightful. And yes, a lot of these images are of reënactors, because just showing half-degraded scraps of fabric does not make a great visual.
