A popular tune called Moll in the Wad, played on the anglo concertina. There seems to be a number of theories regarding the name of the tune, summarised nicely by The Traditional Tune Archive. Furthermore, a possible connection to the well known morris tune Old Molly Oxford is also mentioned. This tune appears in a large number of publications. Presented here (in the figure) is a page from A Selection of Scotch, English, Irish and Foreign Airs, by James Aird (Glasgow, 1782).
