4. Will I ever hear from my ex again?

In this episode, Rory (The Love Chat) discusses if you'll ever hear from your ex again following a breakup. This can be a scary thought for all of us going through a breakup and can lead to a lot of anxiety, especially if our ex is angry with us or doesn’t want to talk to us.

Breakups happen because the other person doubted your ability to make them happy. Asking a question like “when will I hear from my ex again?” is not taking into account the other person’s feelings. Try to put yourself in your ex’s shoes. Our exes are human too and are capable of mistakes.

In this episode, Rory (The Love Chat) discusses that if you and your ex had a happy and healthy relationship, chances are that you will hear from your ex again one day. We can’t say how or when that will happen, but it probably will! A better question to ask is “how can I make it most likely that my ex will reach out?” The answer to that is simple: focus on YOU! Keep growing, become the best version of yourself that you can be, and show the person that you love that you are worth keeping around.

Stick to no contact. Do not help your ex move on by staying in contact with you, because your ex isn’t going to help you move on. Stay strong!
