Political unrest, negligence, and climate challenges have severely impacted Yemen’s historic cities — pushing many centuries-old homes to the brink of collapse.
Abdulrahman, an engineer from the Social Fund for Development @SFDYemen in Zabid, Yemen, who takes great pride in saving historic homes and contributing to the @UNESCO and @EUinYemen -funded initiative that aims to protect Yemen’s rich #CulturalHeritage while creating #sustainable livelihoods.
This work is not only about restoration, it’s a step forward in fostering #economicrecovery and strengthening social cohesion across the country.
