►Hermia & Lysander | Infinity

Hi everyone! As a senior, I had an obligation to create a senior project that included meaning from a piece of literature that I have read. This is based on Shakespeare’s play, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Hermia and Lysander are the main couple; however, Hermia does not have her father’s consent to be with Lysander and he will either force her to marry another man or kill her. In this video, the fairies (yes, there are fairies) want to help Lysander and Hermia be together, so they ask the king of the fairies to help them. He replies with, “it’s not so easy to do when you’re playing a game without rules.” This is because tainting with love and fate can have undesirable consequences.

As it would turn out, the fairies succeed in transferring them to present day where they could be together; but, they lose their memories of each other in the process. No worries! They just fall in love all over again as high school students! Just as there is the Romeo and Juliet trope of star-crossed lovers, my trope for Hermia and Lysander is fate will always find a way.

Side note: This was so freaking fun to make and I’m glad I get to share it with you all!
