On Sunday 23rd May 2021, we joined SteamRanger’s volunteers and invited guests, fellow train enthusiasts, tourists, and interested public to participate in SteamRanger Heritage Railway’s recommissioning of Veteran Steam Locomotive Rx224 (after its 30-year restoration) at SteamRanger Heritage Railway’s Mt Barker Depot.
Following the recommissioning, steam locomotive Rx224 then hauled a special train for invited guests and public to Bugle Ranges supported by steam locomotives Rx207 and 621. Further trips were made there during the day.
This video is made up of snippets taken at the Mt Barker Railway Station and of the steam hauled train at various locations to and from the Bugle Ranges.
