Steven McBee Jr.'s budding relationship has received a very important co-sign.

Just weeks after going official with influencer Allie Eklund, The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys cast member offered more insight into Allie’s dynamic with his loved one. Steven told The Daily Dish that his new girlfriend got along quite well with his tight-knit family, but she was especially close with his mother, Kristi McBee.

“Things have been great. It has been such a good experience dating someone that brings so much peace to my life and is integrated with my family so well,” he said during BravoCon 2025. “So it's been really, really fun. My mom probably loves her more than I do already. My mom is like, ‘I've got a new best friend.’ They text more than Allie and I do.”

Steven confirmed his relationship with Allie via Instagram on November 3, nearly a year after he and Calah Jackson called it quits. It’s no secret that Steven and Calah’s on-again, off-again romance caused a lot of tension and heated exchanges within his family — so much so that Kristi described the relationship as “toxic.”

“I would do anything to get her out of his life," Kristi said in a Season 2, Episode 5 confessional. "I don't do well with someone playing victim all the time, and that's what she does. The last thing I want to see is my son in an unhealthy, toxic relationship."
