The mother of a child who is sick with leukemia from a coronavirus-hit region in China (Hubei) emotionally pleaded with police to let her daughter through in order to get medical help, on Feb. 1.
Lu Yue Jin, 50, stood at a checkpoint crying and begging police to let her daughter get the medical attention she needed, and the pair were eventually allowed through.
