Plot:
Alex Winters, a US Marine never expected to leave and return home from Iraq, but when an explosion outside the base caused fatalities and serious injuries, he had to return to the US earlier than he expected, ending his career as a Marine for good.
Moving in with Grandpa to a small town in North Carolina, helping him around the house to prevent his depression from deepening and trying to end his own life, with the memories of all his comrade’s he lost in the war. But will things change when he meets Shelby Morales, a single mother of two?
After the death of her husband, Sean Morales, whilst fighting for his country as a Marine, Shelby finds it hard to fall for another solider, with the thought of losing another to the war. But when two people are supposed to be with each other, nothing can stop them from falling in love.
But will the two of them help each other out in the end? Or will the thought of losing another man that she loves prevent them from being together?
