At Eiheiji, one of Japan’s most renowned Zen temples, monks carry on the traditional way of life through Zen meditation, daily practice, and Buddhist cuisine. A rare opportunity was granted to film the Zen practice that has been passed down for nearly 800 years...

Zen lives on beyond the temple. At Awara Onsen, it takes shape through Omotenashi, the Japanese art of hospitality—expressed in flower arrangements, gardens, and cuisine, all deeply connected to the spirit of ZEN.
