The joy of having a patch is watching the environment change as the year progresses. As the landscape naturally changes different species come and go and with Summer in full force, dragonflies and larger insects are numerous as are the raptors. I spent two days watching a pair of Hobby Falcons hunt over a lake. Mesmerized by their agility and grace... Not a bad day down the local.
