DIY Cushions and Cushion Covers For Your Van Conversion | Van Build Series Ep. 49

Today I'm going to take you through how to make cushions out of a 3" queen-size mattress or mattress topper. Then I'll take you step-by-step through how to measure to make a snug-fitting cushion cover with only one piece of fabric.

This video is a step-by-step tutorial for making cushions from a queen-sized mattress topper and a boxed cushion cover.

The covers can be easily removed for washing.

I will show you how to measure to make a snug-fitting cover with only one piece of fabric.

I'll also show you how to put in a zipper!

Even if you’ve never sewn a zipper before, you can do it! It’s really not that difficult.

Follow every step, and you’ll soon have a beautiful boxed and covered cushion.

I made 6 for my Sprinter Van conversion, and I absolutely love them!

Be careful if you have a directional fabric. Always pre-wash your fabric.

Measure twice, cut once.

And if possible, make a sample or trial to practice the first time!
