The Hamuq Original mattress is a 12.5″ Canadian hybrid mattress made of poly foam, gel memory foam, and pocketed coil base. It has 3.5″ of comfort material, aimed at providing a balanced sleeper to a wide range of sleepers.

This mattress has minimal sinkage and high levels of bounce. It has an active sleeping surface without too much contour or hug.

The Hamuq is available in a single firmness, 6 out of 10, with a medium-firm feel. This firmness is generally suitable for sleepers of any sleeping position, but while testing the Hamuq I felt that the support dynamic to be better for back or stomach sleepers.

In our performance tests the Hamuq earned an overall score of 8.18, ranking it notably below the average of 8.57, based on all of our tests to date.

What this mattress lacks in performance, it may make up for with its low price, depending on what you’re looking for. A queen Hamuq is only C$999, making this mattress 47% less than average (a savings of C$861.)
