Mostyamanu Temple is situated at the hill top of Chandak at Soar Valley (Pithoragarh). It is said that it is a replica of famous Pashupatinath temple of Nepal, which is founded by a sant named Mosta Manav. Every year a grand 3 to 5 day fair is held here in the month of August or September according to its THITHI.
This bhajan's lyrics describe and its footage shows that the pilgrimage, serenity, location, beautifulness, importance, popularity, history and local rituals (Riti-Riwaz) of Mosta manu temple. Singer also urges God Mostya to pour on blessing, give prosperity and wellness to its BHAKTAS. you can see the scenic beauty of Soar Vally, Pithoragarh city and its beautiful peripheral views, which is well clicked by Shardul Kumar (Cameraman). Mostyamanu temple is one of the most famous temples near Pithoragarh city like Thalkedar, Ulkadevi, Dhawaj, Lori, Kapileshwar, Kamakhya etc. It is a well known tourist spot also.
