Kolot Shabbat Shira Shacharit (Morning) and Torah Service, 10 Shevat 5785 - February 8th 2025. Led by Cantor Lisa B. Segal, Rabbi Abby C. Stein, Student Rabbi Hadar Ahuvia, and Eleonore Weill.
At this Shabbat Shira service, we emphasized the importance of presence and joy in the face of adversity. We highlighted the struggles faced by the trans community and the need for resistance and celebration. The service included singing, chanting, and blessings, with Kolot encouraging attendees to create a safe space for themselves. The service concluded with a call to action, urging attendees to organize and defend against injustice.
