Featured is Kobe pulling up in transition for both midrange/free throw line-extended jumpers and three pointers. A handful of clips include traditional fast-break opportunities where only 1-2 defensive players are back. His pull up against Washington in 2003 is a good example of this, initially being a 1 on 1 that slowly morphed into a 2 on 2 scenario. Instead of challenging the bigger defender at the rim, he stops at the free throw line and nails the shot. For Kobe, quality midrange looks were about as good as layups. That 15-18 foot area was his bread and butter. Pulling up in transition is just another example of this.
