Our hotel was located on Mirza Ghalib Street, a popular destination for Bangladeshi tourists in Kolkata. The hotel's name is Jaapon, and our room rent was 1200 Rs per day. After a good night's sleep, we went out for breakfast and spent a couple of minutes searching for a traditional breakfast in Kolkata. Eventually, we found a street vendor on Chowringhee Lane selling kachori, a spicy snack made with gram flour, ghee, sugar, dates, and cardamom powder. The date kachori can be served with cranberry sheer and garnished with strawberry syrup for extra flavor. We each had nine pieces, and each piece cost 5 Rs, and the curry was free. The kachori seller also offered a variety of sweet items. The food was excellent, and we had a great experience there. We then looked for a tea stall and found one near Sudder Street, where two boys were selling tea served in clay pots. After finishing the tea, you can dispose of the clay pot. The small pot of tea costs 5 Rs, and the big one 10 Rs.
