I did not expect this to happen with this piece, but in all fairness the dog took minor damage during the shipping process which I quickly addressed by covering shipping all the way back to me for a speedy 10 minute repair. It was not until I paid for the return of the dog that they decided they did not want it. Shipping carvings is always a risk and I have been very fortunate to have this be my one and only shipping issue, and it was a minor one at that. Some things are just out of our control...like my oak tree raining toxic caterpillars lol.
