2 - New XCollar Application

This video shows you the NEW XCOLLAR application (with straps # 1-2-3) followed by the application of NEW XCOLLAR THE FRENCH VERSION (WITH STRAP #4) for easy comparison.

We currently have two versions of NEW XCOLLAR: the regular version and "the French version" with Strap #4. "The French version" of New XCollar is called this way because it was developed at the request of and in collaboration with French agencies.

What does the Strap #4 in the French version of New XCollar give you? It allows for maximum immobilization of the patient and it's integrated with the collar for convenience. Thanks to that, you can't drop this strap or misplace it. You can use it as needed for critical patients that need maximum immobilization, or leave it without tightening, if maximum immobilization isn't necessary.

You can achieve the same result of maximum immobilization with the regular New XCollar version (just with straps 1-2-3), with the help of a Security Strap. We provide Security Straps with each box of New XCollar. Those straps come separately in the box and are not integrated with the collar.

New XCollar without integrated Strap #4 is less expensive, however some might find it less convenient since you need to apply a separate strap for maximum immobilization (for critical patients that need it). It's not often that you need maximum immobilization capabilities of the New XCollar however, and so many agencies pick New XCollar without the strap #4.

In the French Version of the New XCollar (with Strap #4), you don't always have to tighten the #4 strap since not all patients need maximum immobilization. Strap #4 is there for when you need it.

Why New XCollar "the French version"?
As stated before, we call it this way because this version of the collar was developed in collaboration with French agencies. They specifically requested that the Security Strap be integrated with the collar as Strap #4. We are grateful for their collaboration in improving our device.
