In today's video we take a short break from trains and watch the historic USS Slater (the last DE afloat) sail down the Hudson River from Albany NY to Stuyvesant NY as it makes its way to Staten Island for repairs. Now I never film ships for YT but I love history and the USS Slater moving was an event not to miss. I love watching ships go by and I love WWII history so it's a perfect combo! I met a lot of cool people, made a lot of great memories and got some pretty cool shots. I hope you enjoy! Thanks for watching!
