بمناسبة تدشين طابع بريدي لتقاطع 5/6 بالتعاون مع بريد قطر، تستعرض أشغال رحلة بناء الأقواس التي تقف شامخة لتجسد صمودنا‬‬ ‏
لمحة عن اقواس تقاطع 5/6:
تمثل الاقواس الواقعة على تقاطع 5/6 أيقونة معمارية فريدة ومعلم جديد بتصميم يربط بين الماضي والمستقبل والتراث البحري في دولة قطر.

يبلغ ارتفاع القوسين المتداخلين 100 متر، ويتألفا من 55 قطعة فولاذية ضخمة تم شحنها عن طريق السفن ونقلها بعناية عبر كورنيش الدوحة لموقع الأقواس حيث استغرقت عملية الرفع
اسبوعا كاملاً للقطعة الواحدة باستخدام رافعة خاصة.
مثّل بناء الاقواس المتداخلة والمائلة تحديا كبيراً للفريق الهندسي لدقة عملية الإمالة وللتأكد من تركيب الأجزاء الفولاذية الضخمة بالزوايا الصحيحة.
On the occasion of launching a postage stamp for 5/6 Interchange in cooperation with Qatar Post Ashghal presents the journey of building the Arches, which stands unshakable reflecting our steadfastness

Overview about 5/6 Interchange Arches
The arches of 5/6 Interchange (one of the key Lusail expressway interchanges) represents a unique architectural icon and a new landmark with a design that blends the past, the future and the maritime heritage in the State of Qatar

With over 100 meters height, the two tilted arches were made of 54 segments that were shipped by sea and carefully transported piece by piece along the Corniche to the construction site

Given the dimensions of the arches structure, it took over 1 week to assemble one segment of the arches using a special crane to handle the lifting process

Construction of the tilted arches was a challenge for the engineering team, especially during installation of the large steel segments and adjusting them to the right angle
