Bhumro Bhumro is a delightful little dance from the valleys of Kashmir. Bhumbro-bhumbo, Shyam rang bhumbro, is beautiful movie song from the 90s which was inspired by the folk song from the first ever Kashmiri Opera - Bombur ta Yemberzal. The song calls out to the bhumbro, the Bumblebee. Thanking him for hovering over the flowers of the valley and bringing all the beauty and colours with him. Presented here today by some of the youngest Utsarga Students, this dance is choreographed by Guru Ishita Baruri.
It is a song of celebration, of love and of childlike innocence. A song from the hearts of the beautiful Kashmiri people.
