South Lake Union is right next to Downtown Seattle and Queen Anne. This vibrant Seattle neighborhood has been shaped by the tech industry and you can find plenty of things to do.

Amazon Spheres
2111 7th Ave, Seattle, WA 98121

The Spheres are a unique feature of South Lake Union. These three conservatories belong to Amazon’s headquarters. The Spheres are open to all Amazon employees with a badge and their guests. The public can sign up to visit the Spheres for free every first and third Saturday of the month. I recommend checking out their website to book your visit.

Doce Donut

If you’re looking for donuts inspired by Latin American flavors, you have to swing by Doce Donuts. Their donuts are made with raised brioche dough - which makes their donuts ultra fluffy. This family operated donut shop offers flavors like churro duce lece and choco mocha.

Kenmore Air: Take a Seattle Scenic Airplane Ride

One of the most unique things to do in Seattle is take a seaplane ride. Kenmore Air operates right out of Lake Union, Kenmore, and Tacoma. This family owned business has 25 aircrafts in operation. They offer scenic flights from Seattle to Mt. Rainier, to the San Juan islands, and more.

We took the Seattle Scenic Airplane ride and were blown away by the Seattle views! There are breathtaking views of Lake Union, Lake Washington, the Space Needle, and the mountains.

Lake Union Park

This 12-acre Seattle park has waterfront access, the MOHAI, and Center of Wooden Boats all in one location. You can watch the Kenmore Air seaplanes take off and the boats cruise through South Lake Union.

203 Farenheit Coffee

This Seattle coffee shop is conveniently located across the street from Lake Union Park. They serve great coffee and offer a calm atmosphere.
