Took my 2017 Yamaha FZ-09 to the track after installing a handful of new mods, also it rained... But that didn’t stop the fun. Throttle: Much smoother off/on transitions
Braking: Firmer feel with stainless lines & upgraded pads
Suspension: Rear end more planted, better corner exit

💭 Final Thoughts:

This FZ-09 has come a long way. It’s \~35–40% better overall.
Not a supersport, not a touring bike—but a great do-it-all machine.
Great on backroads, competent at the track, and even commutes well.
If I were buying again, I’d maybe go R9—but this still kicks ass.
