How good are vacuüm amplifiers? I am not sure how other vacuüm amplifiers sound but I was very surprised buy this one. The first few weeks I just liked the willsenton but when I hooked up the sansui on my new Heco's I discovered something new.
I don't think I would ever bought a vacuüm amplifier but lucky for me I got one from a chinese shop( https://www.china-hifi-audio.com/en ) to test it out. My audiophile neighbor Ivar, who have his own audiophile youtube channel ( / @theaudiophilebarista2424 ) filmed part 1 of this video and after filming we both tested the Willsenton Vacuüm amp Vs the Sansui AU-X711. The Sansui is not a ordinary old amp but a highly valued amp with a second hand value of 500 euro.
Ivar's 2 monoblocks are vacuüm amps he use now for 30 years on his main system. Subscribe on his channel to learn more about his systems. He told me that not one transistor amp can replace the tubes..... I wonder how this willsenton stand against his 2 vacuüm amps when this amp goes to his house for testing.
