Welcome to my 2nd Camino re-build. First off, sorry again that it's just mainly pictures but I never intended to make a video, just take pics for myself. I have purchased a new GoPro to record more builds, rides and events, so future videos will, hopefully be better!
This one was done for my wife to ride, although she's a novice, just like me. Hopefully one day she'll have enough confidence to have a go!
I must admit to making a bit of a boo boo with this one. You can see from the initial pictures that it was in a right state, loads missing and had been sat on a pallet for years, but still had its original engine...so numbers matching. The mistake I made was that AFTER powder coating, I realised it was one of the very early Honda Caminos. It was made in May 1976 and has a frame number within the first 6000 ever made, which doesn't sound to early but 450,000 were made, with many being used and abused, it's quite a survivor. Had I known this prior to me starting work, I would have left it as it was asthetically and just restored it mechanically, but, hey ho shit, happens.
