The Schmuck Clarinet Trio takes children and families on an imaginative adventure through Mozart's world of sound. Three 'magic clarinets' set out in search of a lost melody and encounter familiar characters from Mozart's operas along the way, including the mysterious Queen of the Night, the mischievous Cherubino, and the enigmatic Don Giovanni. These cheerful adventures are accompanied by Mozart's music: excerpts from The Magic Flute, Don Giovanni and The Marriage of Figaro, as well as the clarinet concerto and lively divertimentos, all played on clarinets and basset horns. Told with humour, enthusiasm and loving detail, the result is a magical, musical concert that the whole family can enjoy.
