Poor White Trash is a black comedy about a little man who dreams of escaping poverty and giving his son a chance at a better life.

The plot centers on a simple southern guy Bill, who lives with his family in the poor outback of America. His main goal is to send his son Jeff to college so that he does not repeat his father's fate. But the family has no money, and an honest path in a poor town is almost impossible.

A chance meeting with a local loser and small-time swindler opens up "new horizons" for Bill - a world of criminal schemes and ridiculous machinations. Together they begin a series of ridiculous robberies and scams, which each time balance on the brink of failure. However, behind all these comic situations lies a desperate attempt to break out of the vicious circle of poverty.

The film combines satire, humor and drama, showing how far ordinary people are willing to go for the sake of their family and future. This is a story about dreams, recklessness and how even the most ridiculous plans can turn into a chance to change fate.
