Let's swap out the turbo inlet pipe on the Ranger! 10 min job. Airbox lid off, maf to turbo soft pipe off (two worm drive clamps), two 10mm hex heads on the inlet pipe, and it's off.

I didnt get around to measuring it myself, but if you check out ABD Automotive's Youtube, i believe the stock inlet necks down to 1.75" (44.45mm) and the stainless one is approx. 2.25" (57.15mm). There's bound to be a little bit of benefit there, particularly if you vehicle is tuned.

Notes to add: Two 10mm hex bolts hold this pipe onto te turbo. You can use either a 1/4" drive or 1/2", but 1/4 would probably be easier especially with the tight clearance of the new one. You'll need to fit a gasket to the new flange. I just cut a custom one out of card.
