Life of the River The Futaleufu travels south to Chile with journalist Rick Montgomery to do a story about the ultimate whitewater adventure on the legendary Futaleufu River. After getting up close and personal with some of the greatest class V rapids on the glove, Montgomery meets the community of Futaleufu and finds out about the threat of a dam that could turn the world's greatest whitewater into a lake.
The film bridges the gap between entertainment and environmental content by combining a fun whitewater travelogue with the story of a river in peril. Focusing on appreciation and awareness, the documentary's goal is to increase national and international interest in this most beautiful place.
