Dr. Beth R. Hochman is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Acute Care Surgery. A nationally recognized expert in trauma and emergency general surgery, she is also Co-Director of NYU’s Global Surgery Initiatives and plays a key role in interdisciplinary education and global health. Board-certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care, Dr. Hochman has led training programs worldwide and actively contributes to research on trauma care and surgical outcomes.
