Audi Sport quattro E2 Pikes Peak at RallyLegend 2021: Accelerations & Turbo 5-Cylinder Sound!

One of my personal highlights of the 19th edition of the RallyLegend was for sure the presence of this amazing Audi Pikes Peak monster. Well, I assume it was the same for many other spectators. The car is an absolutely marvellous replica of the 1987 ex-Walter Röhrl's Sport quattro E2 Pikes Peak built by the Dutch company Audi Sport Veghel (if I understood correctly) and it has been around for some years now. As for the original one, the car is moved by a 2.1-litre 5-cylinder turbocharged engine.

During the 2021 RallyLegend the car was driven by the Italian rally driver Giorgio Mela in the 'Legend Stars' which is a group reserved to those who want just to do the stages in a more 'relaxed' way as a sort of parade.
