Broadcom 9560-16i Tri-Mode RAID and Supermicro A+1114S-WN10RT | BPN-SAS3-LB16A-N10

In this video I'll be showcasing the Broadcom 9560-16i Tri-Mode RAID controller that was sent to me by Broadcom in a Supermicro A+1114S-WN10RT server. I discuss why you need a server like this to support NVMe drives and why the 9560-16i was configured with it. I'll explain the hybrid backplane that supports SAS/SATA/NVMe in the BPN-SAS3-LB16A-N10. We'll then talk about the Broadcom 9560-16i and the technological developments in this generation in terms of PCIe 4.0 support and IOPS performance. Finally, I'll preview the I/O performance discussion for the next video.
