Last year Matt Carpenter brought an Ascent game to a Marathon fight and lost. This year he prepared for global thermonuclear war and dropped a tactical assault descent on Pikes Peak to take the win and the record back from Ricardo Mejia. Karen Gorman wins for the women. Scott Elliott and J'ne Day-Lucore win the Ascent.
