HIGHLIGHTS: Davis Martin Dominates, White Sox Score 11 in Victory Over Boston (4.11.25)

Davis Martin made his third start this season, second at home, second career start against the Boston Red Sox and fourth career start (fifth appearance) vs. an American League East opponent. He recorded his first major-league win since 9/30/22 at San Diego.

Jake Amaya got the Good Guys on the board first in the 2nd! His double on a sharp line drive to Jarren Duran scored Michael A. Taylor and Chase Meidroth.

In the bottom of the 4th, Miguel Vargas doubled to bring home Chase Meidroth and Omar Narváez to extend the lead, 4-0. Luis Robert Jr. followed in the same inning with an RBI single to center fielder Ceddanne Rafaela, scoring Miguel Vargas. Lenyn Sosa singled on a line drive to right fielder Wilyer Abreu, driving in Luis Robert Jr. to add on one more.

In the bottom of the 5th, Omar Narváez’s sac fly drove in Michael A. Taylor to make the score 7-0. Narváez added more in the 7th with a 2-RBI single, scoring Michael A. Taylor and Brooks Baldwin to extend the White Sox lead, 9-1.

In the bottom of the 8th, Lenyn Sosa doubled to bring home Luis Robert Jr. In the same frame, Brooks Baldwin’s RBI single plated Lenyn Sosa.

The Chicago White Sox defeated the Boston Red Sox, 11-1, at Rate Field on April 11, 2025. Following this series and a day off Monday, the White Sox conclude the homestand with three games vs. the Athletics (4/15-17) before taking a season-long, 10-day trip to Boston (4/18-21), Minnesota (4/22-24) and the Athletics (4/25-27).
