Bike build video of my new Transition TransAM. I built this bike specifically for steep rock rolls, drops, enduro, bike parks, and free ride. It is set up with a dingle speed drivetrain. Dingle speed? Dual single speed gearing. 36/16 and 30/22. The both total the same number of teeth, this means the chain is the same length and tension on either gearing. I can run the chain just loose enough to push it of the ring and pedal it back onto the next one. Much like you did on your first bike growing up when the chain would fall off. This allows for one gear ratio that is better for climbing and one better for flat and descending. A simple machine with less to break when the bounce inevitably goes bouncing down the hill without me. The dropper lever is mounted to the downtube as well to clean up the handlebars. The rear brake hose is long and the front brake hose is routed through the steertube. This allows the handle bars to make over a full rotation in either direction without getting tangled.
