Today on my way to Ham Radio Outlet to get a replacement power cable for my FT-891 of course I had to make a stop at Havenwoods State Forest to do a little bit of #POTA . Havenwoods is park US-5579 (the park formerly known at K-5579), and of course in the morning I had to give 40 meters a go. Despite some weak signals I was able to put 60 in the log in under an hour before the band started to give up.
I was running my FT 891 at 100 watts with no issues using the Bioenno 12ah battery. This is a great setup for traveling on an airplane and is my go to setup for that.
