Hello Della People! This tutorial will teach you how to transform an old pair of jeans into a pleated mini skirt. No sewing machine is required, but you'll need to be confident with hand sewing back stitch.
Equipment required:
Hand sewing needle
Thread
Large fabric scissors
Small scissors
Hemming web 1–2 cm wide
A pair of jeans that fit your waist and hips
Unpicker
Metal pins
Ruler
Measuring tape
Tailor's chalk/pencil/water-soluble pen
Iron
Sewing clips (optional)
