This is the final installment of a real-money put credit spreads options portfolio I started with $1,500 back in September. As the market declined into recession territory, I rolled dozens of bull put spreads to stay out of the money — and had to keep adding cash to do it. That eventually included a $15,300 IRA-to-Roth conversion, which I used as temporary capital inside the account.
In this video, I walk through what happened, why I kept adjusting instead of closing for a loss, and how I ultimately exited all positions — with about $800 in profit and everything back to cash. I explain:
✅ Why I decided to give back some of my gains instead of continuing the strategy
✅ Where the cash came from (and the 60-day Roth deadline)
✅ Why I probably won’t do this again
✅ What I learned, and how you can apply it
I hope this series will help you make better options trading decisions with your "Eyes Wide Open."
